Dr. Billy Yu
Dentist
Born and raised in Richmond BC, Dr. Billy Yu graduated with a Bachelor of Science from UBC and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario. With a passion for dentistry, he joined Richlea Dental in 2006. Apart from his practice, Dr. Yu has been a part-time instructor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry since 2009. He strives to make every dental visit a positive experience, whether you're a first-time patient or a long-term one. Driven by his commitment to excellence, Dr. Yu is dedicated to providing personalized and quality care for all his patients.
Dr. Vivian Chow
Dentist
Born and raised in Ontario, Dr. Chow obtained her DDS with Honours from the esteemed University of Western Ontario. Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Chow’s unwavering commitment to excellence led her to receive the Gold Medal in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Windsor. She was also honoured as a finalist for the distinguished Rhodes Scholar Program, a recognition that highlights her exceptional academic and community achievements.
Dr. Chow’s contributions to the dental community have included serving as a valued member of the Board of Directors as well as Past President for the Vancouver and District Dental Society (VDDS). In addition, she generously shares her knowledge and expertise as a part-time clinical instructor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry, nurturing the aspiring dental professionals.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Chow finds simple joys in savouring delicious food, exploring her culinary skills, and spending time with her husband and three young children. Dr. Chow takes pleasure in meeting new patients and believes in conservative and preventative treatment to help her patients obtain the best for their oral health.
Dr. Kennedy Chow
Dentist
Dr. Kennedy Chow was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Growing up in a family of dental professionals, he developed a passion for oral health at an early age. He completed his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Chow then pursued residency training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Waikiki Health in Honolulu, Hawaii via the NYU Langone Postdoctoral Residency Programs.
Dr. Chow is a compassionate and highly-skilled dentist dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. He is known for his gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to building long-term relationships rooted in trust, comfort, and education. With a strong foundation in general dentistry and commitment to lifelong learning, Dr. Chow takes pride in combining advanced techniques with a gentle touch, all while providing high-quality comprehensive dental care to the community.
Outside of the office, Dr. Chow enjoys spending quality time with friends and family while also staying active through hiking, tennis, skiing, and more. Most importantly, he is a loyal Vancouver Canucks fan hoping to witness the city’s first Stanley Cup championship.
